The news comes after a TikTok user recently posted a video from the Shreveport movie theater that quickly went viral. In the video, viewers can clearly see what appears to be a live rat running across the floor. Since its upload, the video has been shared more than 8,000 times.
Documents from the Louisiana Department of Health revealed that rodents were present during the inspection. Additionally, several other violations were noted, including dead roaches on glue traps, live roaches, and droppings and debris.
Several dead mice were also found on glue traps in the snack bar area. The report noted that the non-food-contact surfaces of equipment had accumulated dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.
Tinseltown must correct every violation before its next inspection or risk enforcement actions or permit suspensions. We reached out to a representative, but they have not yet responded.
