Caddo DA’s Office Purple Box Project supports domestic violence survivors
The initiative, in partnership with Shreve Memorial Library, helps domestic violence survivors who are leaving unsafe situations. Assistant District Attorney Britney Green says the goal is to make sure survivors have access to essential supplies when they flee from abuse.
Community members are encouraged to fill a box with basic necessities such as feminine hygiene products, hair care items, soap, deodorant, diapers, blankets, and wipes.
.
Donations can be dropped off at 525 Marshall Street through November 10th. The DA’s Office will also coordinate pickups for those unable to deliver items.
