5 people found stabbed in SF’s Inner Richmond, no arrests made

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Five people were stabbed in an early morning incident in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond district Friday. According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded at around 2:10 a.m. to the 3900 block of Geary Boulevard on a report of a stabbing.

At the scene, officers encountered five people “suffering from injuries associated with an assault with a possible knife.” Four of the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The fifth victim was medically assessed at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation, according to police, indicates that a suspect was involved in a verbal altercation with several individuals inside a business. That altercation turned physical, and the suspect assaulted multiple people with a knife.

No arrests have been made at this time, and police say the investigation is active.
