Ponchatoula man accused of possessing child sex abuse material

PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — A Ponchatoula man was accused Thursday, Oct. 23 of possessing child sex abuse material.

According to the Louisiana State Police, an individual reported that personal private images were sent without their consent to another phone. The LSP identified 30-year-old Tyler Adkins as the owner of that phone.

LSP officials said after a search of the phone, they allegedly found the photos of the complainant and over 700 images of child sexual abuse material.

Adkins was arrested and booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. He faces one count of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and 728 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
