It’s in the cards: How Chicago’s Madame Julia taps into tarot and intuition

There seems to be a survey for pretty much anything — including fortune tellers. According to the Pew Research Center, more than 20 percent of Americans have looked to the cards to reveal their destiny. 

Apparently that twenty percent spikes even higher in the weeks leading up to Halloween.

Madame Julia doesn’t foretell future details as much as insight laced with intuition.

When she is not delivering prophecies from her tarot deck, she makes a living as a manifestation and mindset coach. She says it’s similar work, minus the cards
