Investigation underway after two found dead in Fulton County

An investigation involving multiple agencies is underway after two people were found dead in a home in eastern Fulton County Tuesday afternoon.Fulton County Sheriff Jake Smith says deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person. While they were checking the home, deputies discovered two people in the house who were deceased.The Fulton County Coroner and the Arkansas State Police were called to assist and a search warrant was obtained so law enforcement could begin processing the scene.
The victim’s remains have been submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsies and positive identification.

Smith says the names of the victims and other details about the case cannot be released at this time.

Smith says investigators with Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, 16th Judicial, 3rd Judicial, and 14th Judicial Drug Task Forces have been checking leads throughout the north central part of the state.

The Fulton County Sheriff says they have no evidence to suggest the public is any danger.
