Get your cow print out! New Pleasant Grove Chick-fil-A offers free food on opening day

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4) — A new Chick-fil-A is opening up in Pleasant Grove on Oct. 30, and guests who visit in cow print on opening day can get some free food.

The restaurant is located at 1712 W Pleasant Grove Boulevard, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Alongside Chick-fil-A Valley Grove’s opening promotion, it will also be providing a $25,000 donation to the Utah Food Bank.

According to a press release from the popular restaurant chain, this is the first Chick-fil-A location in Pleasant Grove and has created roughly 150 jobs in the area. Kayla Maxwell, a BYU Idaho graduate, was selected as the local owner-operator.

Maxwell looks forward to supporting the Pleasant Grove community, and alongside the $25,000 donation to the Utah Food Bank, the restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which “redirects surplus food to local nonprofits.”

“My goal for Chick-fil-A Valley Grove is to make it easier for our community to experience Chick-fil-A and enjoy the care we’re known for. I’m so honored to bring Chick-fil-A to this community and look forward to creating a place where Guests feel valued and where we’re making a difference both inside the restaurant and out in the community,” Maxwell is quoted in the press release.

To get a free entree or kid’s meal on opening day, Chick-fil-A is inviting guests to wear something cow-spotted, whether that’s a costume, a hat, or anything else you can imagine. To learn more about the free offer, visit Chick-fil-A’s website.
