Elementary student found with blade at south Charlotte school

CMS said a student at Sharon Elementary School has a blade in the latch of a bracelet. The bracelet was quickly confiscated, and no one was hurt.

“Please be reminded that possession of a weapon of any kind in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is a violation of the Code of Student Conduct and has serious consequences,” wrote Principal Catherine Phelan. “Any student in violation will be disciplined accordingly. We encourage all students to report weapons or threats to a trusted adult.”
