Boil water notice issued for some in Caldwell County

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A boil water notice was issued for some residents in Caldwell County after a water link break, according to the Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management.

Caldwell County OEM said on social media that County Line Special Utility customers were given that notice. The streets in the Uhland area also have low pressure from the water line break.

Those affected by the boil water notice should boil their water for two minutes until it comes to a “vigorous rolling boil,” according to the notice from the Community Public Water Systems website.

“In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes,” the website said.
