Attempted murder outside Shreveport Job Corps, four suspects arrested
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police say all suspects are in custody after an attempted homicide near the Job Corps Center on Lillian Street in early October.
SPD announced that Cortrina Hood-Price, 51, and Taylor Price, 30, were arrested and charged with principal to attempted first-degree murder for the October 1 fatal shooting of a woman as she sat in her car outside of her place of employment.
Police acquired an arrest warrant for the two remaining suspects, identified as Lashon Lee, 41, and Shantrez Lewis, 27, for attempted first-degree murder after police said surveillance images obtained from the incident showed the suspects.
The final two suspects were captured thanks to the assistance of one of the suspects’ mothers and the Alexandria Police Department (APD).
On October 21, SPD homicide received a phone call from Stantrez’s mother advising that she and Stantrez Lewis were heading to Shreveport to turn himself in.
Upon Lewis’s arrival, he was taken into custody and later transported to the city jail for his active warrant.
The following day, Lashon Lee was taken into custody by the Alexandria Police Department for an active warrant.
The investigation is ongoing.
