Vehicle crashes into police cruisers at car fire on I-91 in Enfield
ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A vehicle crashed into a state police cruiser and an Enfield police cruiser while officers were responding to a car fire on Interstate 91 in Enfield, state police said.

According to state police, Troop H and Enfield police were called at around 11 p.m. Tuesday to a car fire on I-91 South in the area of Exit 42.

While at the scene, a vehicle collided with the cruisers, state police said. State police said the officers were both out of their cruisers at the time of the crash.

The Enfield Police Department is reminding drivers to slow down and move over when first responders, construction crews, and tow truck operators have their warning lights activated and are working at a scene or construction site.
