This magnetic Qi 2.2 powerbank looks like a classic Sony Cybershot

When it comes to inventive USB-C accessories with rad designs, nobody does it like Sharge. Now it’s following up its classic Mac-inspired chargers, its Braun turntable-inspired battery, and whatever the heck this is supposed to be, with a new MagSafe battery that specifically echoes Sony’s classic T-Series Cybershot cameras.

It’s called the Icemag 3, and it’s a 39.1Wh battery (10,000mAh, if you must) with a built-in 25W Qi 2.2 magnetic wireless charger, a 35W USB-C cable built into its fabric lanyard, optional RGB lighting, an active fan for cooling, and an extra USB-C port for passthrough charging, too.

If you’ll recall, those classic Sony point-and-shoots had a big sliding bar to protect their lenses — one that’d also instantly bring the camera to life when you slide it down!

The Icemag 3’s aluminum bar doesn’t slide, and it doesn’t protect a camera lens — instead, it’s a fold-out stand, and the battery’s glowing eye is a 10,000rpm fan to help keep the charger cool. I’m not a fan of tiny fans, and found the sound a bit annoying on the original Icemag, but perhaps it helps keep the compact electronics cool?

This is technically the third version of the Icemag, but the first didn’t have a stand at all and was limited to 7.5W wireless charging, and the second had a tiny folding stand and 15W wireless charging. Neither had a built-in cable, and both charged from the bottom.

Sharge has now moved its charge port to the side — combined with the big stand, it seems like you could also keep it propped up on your desk as a stationary wireless charger for your phone, and Sharge has a picture of it simultaneously using the built-in cable to charge some earbuds as well.

Not every Qi 2/MagSafe phone supports the 25W charging speeds, even within the same family of devices. For example, the Pixel 10 Pro XL does 25W wireless charging, but the 10 Pro Fold, 10 Pro, and 10 are limited to 15W. Apple has retroactively brought 25W charging to more of the iPhone 16 lineup with iOS 26, though, and the charger is backwards compatible with slower wirelessly charging gadgets as well.

Sharge will launch the Icemag 3 on November 13th for around $70 at its website; it should retail for $80 starting in December. In case you’re curious, here’s how well I liked its previous Braun-turntable-inspired battery:

It’s a battery with 26-inch retractable USB-C cord. It’s a charger with flip-out AC prongs. It looks amazing because it’s inspired by Dieter Rams’ iconic Braun Audio turntable. Just not the most pocketable!
