According to a news release, officers successfully executed a search warrant on two homes located in the 1300 and 1400 blocks of South Meeker Avenue to investigate possible criminal activity.
MPD surveilled the locations and observed multiple individuals leaving and entering with active warrants. It was then that the officers observed other criminal activity.
According to MPD, the operation stemmed from multiple complaints in the area. The Muncie-Delaware County Joint Drug Task Force, with the help of detectives, arrested 19 individuals from both homes.

Multiple felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants were also served, both local and from other counties.
According to MPD, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office provided their transport vehicles to assist with the operation. As of now, these cases will be followed up with the MPD.
