Big change coming to Wawa Rewards: Here’s what to know
PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Attention Wawa customers, your favorite convenience store is shortening the lifespan of its rewards points.
In an email sent to Wawa Rewards members on Wednesday, the company announced that starting December 2, 2025, points will expire six months after they’re earned, replacing the current 12-month window.
“Starting December 2, 2025, Wawa Rewards points will expire 6 months after earning, instead of the current 12-month period,” the company wrote in the email.
Wawa also clarified how the transition will be handled for points earned before the cutoff:
“Any points earned between June 2, 2025, and December 1, 2025, will all have an expiration of June 1, 2026, if not previously redeemed,” the email states.
Members are encouraged to redeem their points promptly to avoid expiration. The Wawa Rewards app provides users with the ability to track their points and receive notifications about upcoming expirations. For assistance or inquiries, customers can contact Wawa’s customer service at 1-800-444-9292 or visit the official website.
