4 softball team members found dead in Fullerton apartment after apparent overdoses

An investigation is underway after four members of a softball team were found dead from apparent drug overdoses inside a Fullerton apartment Tuesday.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, around 11 a.m., officers responded to an apartment building on the 140 block of Wilshire Avenue after a man reported finding four of his friends unconscious and not breathing.

Police and paramedics arrived on scene and found four adults dead inside an apartment in the complex.

Fullerton police said a death investigation is underway and there is no immediate threat to the public.

Police have not said what is suspected to be responsible for killing the four people.
