Man wanted in connection to fatal Copiah County shooting
Investigators said Artivious Hilliard is wanted in connection to the death of Decedric Stampley, 20.
Deputies said they responded to the Copiah County Medical Center just after 11:00 p.m. on October 13, 2025. Stampley had been brought in with a gunshot wound, and he died from his injuries.
Hilliard is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office at 601-894-3011 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
