NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The location of the Queen of Carnival’s toast to Rex will change.
Officials with the Rex organization announced that the queen will raise a glass at The Josephine. It’s a new event venue located at the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church at the corner of Napoleon Avenue and Lasalle Street.
The stop is just six blocks into the Rex parade route.
