INDIANAPOLIS — A statewide silver alert has been declared for a 62-year-old Lawrence man last seen on Monday afternoon.
According to the alert, John Wankoswki was last seen at around 3:50 p.m. on Monday in Lawrence. Wankoswki is described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall and having gray hair with hazel eyes.
The alert states that Wankoswki was last seen wearing a tan and red plaid coat, along with a camo-pattered jacket, a light colored shirt, tan pants and boots.
“He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance,” the alert read.
If individuals have any information on Wankoswki’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Lawrence Police Department at (317) 545-7575. or 911.
