Downed line closes roads, cuts power to Fresno residents

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Downed power lines closed a roadway and left a Fresno neighborhood without power Monday night.

CHP says Valentine Avenue, north of Olive Avenue is closed while crews work to remove the downed line.

The reason for the down line is unknown, but according to the PG&E Outage Center, 23 residents in the immediate area lost power.

The utility says power is expected to be restored to the area by Tuesday at 5:15 a.m.
