FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Bluberries blocked traffic on a Fresno highway Monday evening, California Highway Patrol says.
The blueberries spilled around 6:15 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 99 along the eastbound Highway 180 interchange.
The mess has caused CHP to close the entire transition interchange.
CHP says motorists should use surface streets to access travel east of Highway 99 while crews work to clean the spill.
Clean-up time has not been estimated, but updates will be provided as they become avalable.
