AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sunday was 10/10 weather across Central Texas. Highs were warm in the mid 80s, but dew points were in the 20s and 30s with clear skies. A taste of fall (finally).

Tonight, temperatures will cool to the 50s with clear skies and calm winds.

Tomorrow, winds at the surface will shift to the south-southwest, pumping in 90s by the afternoon hours. Our normal high temperature is 81°. Winds will occasionally gust up to 25 mph.

With the severe ongoing drought and gusty winds, there is a high wildfire risk for most of Central Texas.

We’re tracking two additional cold fronts this week. The first front will be a mostly dry front on Tuesday, followed by an isolated to widely-scattered rain chance on Friday and Saturday.
