Porsche caught speeding over 100 mph on Sonoma County road
The citation was issued on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 4:10 p.m., according to CHP. The Porsche was going more than 100 mph in a zone where the speed limit is 55 mph.
There was no crash or injuries reported as a result of the speeding. Valley Ford Road is located in Sonoma County, about 10 miles west of Rohnert Park.
The car was identified as a 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman. CHP incorrectly wrote in its citation that the car was a Porsche 911. A brand new Cayman starts at about $75,000. That’s compared to a 911 that starts at around $122,000, according to Car and Driver.
