Authorities are looking for a mob of suspects accused of robbing two men right outside a south Minneapolis church over the weekend.
Minneapolis police say officers were called to a reported robbery outside St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located off East 45th Street and Third Avenue South, just after 8 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say two men were leaving church when seven or eight male suspects got out of a pair of vehicles and approached the men.
The suspects then pushed one of the men to the ground and robbed him, and someone reportedly threw something at the other man, although the victim avoided it.
Police say the suspects then got back in their vehicles and drove off.
Both victims were evaluated at the scene and then taken to a hospital for treatment, although both are expected to be fine.
Police looked around the area but didn’t find any of the suspects.
Their investigation remains active.
