FRACKVILLE – The football field in Frackville is getting a bit of a makeover.
Jeff Ziolko has been working on a new mural at Memorial Field in Frackville as the concession stand building has received a new coat of paint.
Ziolko has been volunteering with the Frackville Mountaineers organization and the idea, he said, was to spruce up the field.
“It was a little worse for wear. It wasn’t touched for 25 years,” he said of the concessions stand building.”
The idea, he said, was developed in conjunction with his wife, following the Mountaineer motif.
Mazz from Just Grafix developed the stencils for the lettering, Ziolko said.
