Monday temperatures: Temperatures on Monday morning will be several degrees below normal as lows will likely be in the 40s and lower 50s. Despite the rather chilly start, sunshine and a breezy southeasterly wind will warm temperatures Monday afternoon into the low to middle 80s.
Quiet start to the week: Futurecast shows that the sunshine that we experienced on Sunday will continue on Monday. Expect a clear sky on Sunday night and a mostly sunny sky on Monday. A weak front will quickly move through the area late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. It will bring lots of clouds and a quick shot at a little rain. We will quickly see sunshine return on Tuesday afternoon.
Long-range outlook: The mainly dry weather will last through Thursday. Our next disturbance will bring the threat of thunderstorms and heavy rain from Friday into Saturday night. Severe weather will be possible, along with several inches of rain. Highs this week will mainly be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s. We could see a second chance of rain during the middle of next week, with little change in temperatures expected next week.
