Manhattan wants your help naming snow plows

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Manhattan wants your help to name its snow plows for the 2025-2026 winter weather season.

The City of Manhattan announced on social media that it has 15 Public Works Department snow plows, four Parks and Rec snow plows, two fire department snow plows and one large snow removal vehicle for the Manhattan Regional Airport that it needs help naming.

Residents can submit up to three names per category with reasons for their choices. The deadline for name entries is 5 p.m. on Oct. 20. Participants are limited to one entry per person.
