Deputies arrest Baton Rouge man accused of financial crimes
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man accused of financial crimes, including stealing over $100,000 from a local business, was arrested Monday.
Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said Marvell Jackson, 26, was charged with bank fraud, theft over $25,000, and illegal transmission of monetary funds. An investigation into Jackson started in May of this year after a local business theft.
According to Stassi, Jackson faces pending charges in nearby parishes for similar crimes.
