Crime Reports: Couple caught engaging in sexual activity in Abilene parking lot

Incidents 

1900 block of Pine Street – Assault Hospital Staff
A nurse at a north Abilene hospital reported she was assaulted by a patient while attempting to provide care. 

1900 block of Butternut Street – Theft of Property 
A victim reported a known suspect took a motorcycle from him. 

3100 block of Amarillo Street – Burglary of Habitation 
Fishing supplies and liquor was reported stolen during a burglary. 

5500 block of Congress Avenue – Injury to Child/Elderly/Disabled 
An injury to elderly report was taken. 

1700 block of Zoo Lane – Aggravated Assault 
A report for assault was taken at a softball field. 

700 block of Briarwood Street – Assault Family Violence
A victim reported she was assaulted by a known suspect in north Abilene. 

3200 block of S Danville Drive – Theft of Motor Vehicle
A Theft of Motor Vehicle Report was taken in south Abilene. 

800 block of Grape Street – Aggravated Robbery 
A robbery was reported at a Family Dollar store. 

1900 block of Pine Street – Assault 
A victim reported she was assaulted by a known suspect. 

1400 block of Dub Wright Boulevard – Public Lewdness 
A concerned citizen reported two known suspects were engaged in sexual activity in a public parking lot. 

3200 block of Rebecca Lane – Illegal Dumping 
Police responded to a call for service in south Abilene. 

700 block of Chaparral Circle – General Inquiry

2300 block of Cedar Crest Drive – Tampering with Consumer Product 
A victim reported his roommate tampered with edible property. 

1200 block of Yeomans Road – Deadly Conduct 
An unknown suspect discharged a firearm toward a residence. 

1300 block of N 7th Street – Theft of Property 
A north Abilene resident reported his phone was stolen at a local business. 

5200 block of Twylight Trail – Assault Family Violence
Police responded to a disturbance in south Abilene where a victim was hospitalized after an assault.
