BART trains had been single tracking through the Transbay Tube since around 6 a.m. while dealing with a track obstruction, according to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. Officials announced at 9:20 a.m. that BART was beginning to recover.
For Green Line riders heading to San Francisco, BART said to take an Orange/Richmond train and transfer to a Blue/Daly City train. Green Line riders heading to the East Bay and take a Blue/Dublin train and transfer to an Orange/Berryessa train.
Red Line service, which was offline for several hours amid the disruption, has since resumed.
There is no estimated time for delays to be resolved and Green Line service to resume.
