Arkansas Storm Team Blog: Arkansas's 60th tornado of 2025 occurred Saturday
On Saturday, October 18, the 60th tornado of 2025 hit Arkansas. It was an EF1 tornado that impacted Hot Spring County. The EF1 was on the ground from 3:50 p.m. to 3:55 p.m., and traveled 0.8 miles. Its peak winds were 105 miles per hour, and at its widest, it was 100 yards in width.

The tornado began just north of Highway 128 near Sycamore Drive and traveled east for 0.8 miles before it dissipated near Owasso Trail. It occurred south of De Roche, near Carney. The National Weather Service in Little Rock reported that this tornado caused mainly tree damage.

There were a few tornado warnings on Saturday in Arkansas, but only one of them produced a confirmed tornado. Reports of a wall cloud were numerous Saturday afternoon in Clark County with a tornado-warned storm, but nothing was found to have touched down. Severe hail also impacted the community of Hopeville on Saturday.
