Authorities are investigating after a dead body was found in a Richfield lake on Saturday morning.
At around 9:57 a.m., a pedestrian called the Richfield Police Department to report a body floating in Wood Lake.
Emergency personnel responded and recovered the body of a dead, unidentified woman, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine his identity and cause of death at a later time.
Hennepin County officials are currently conducting the investigation.
