Hospice Workshop Aims to Bring Comfort During the Holidays
Outreach & Development Coordinator Marta Rose tells KTLO News about the event.
Listen:
Rose says the free program is designed around this time of year as the holidays can be especially difficult for those who’ve lost someone close. Each workshop includes a small gift bag for attendees, group discussion, guest speakers, and a craft activity, something Rose says helps participants honor memories while exploring new traditions. She gives details about how this program aims to assist those dealing with loss.
Listen:
Space is limited, and attendees are asked to RSVP by October 24 by calling 870-508-1771.
Rose encourages anyone grieving this season to reach out and says “Even if they don’t attend, someone is always there to listen.”
