LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Little Rock announced Friday that head baseball coach Chris Curry has signed a five-year contract extension to remain with the Trojans.

Curry, entering his 12th season, led the Trojans to an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship and their first NCAA Regional victories last season, officials said.

“Coach Curry represents everything we want in the leader of our baseball program,” said Little Rock Director of Athletics Frank M. Cuervo.” His professionalism, integrity, and ability to develop young men, on and off the field, have made a lasting impact on our University.”

“I am grateful to A.D. Frank Cuervo and Chancellor Drale for believing in the future of our program,” Curry said.

Under Curry’s leadership, Little Rock finished first or second in the OVC regular season two of his first three years in the league, won the 2024 regular-season title and captured the 2025 OVC Tournament championship, officials said.

Looking ahead, Curry’s team will return a strong core from last season’s roster and add a new recruiting class, with plans for a new stadium and training facility, officials said.
