DA: 'Popular' Tulare County masseuse sentenced for nearly a decade of abuse
The DA says 61-year-old Tomas Jimenez from Dinuba will be spending 24 years in prison for nearly a decade of abuse.
According to court documents, the “professed healer” sexually assaulted over 30 people in his residences throughout Tulare County between 2015 and 2024. His victims were both male and female.
Jimenez was first charged in June 2024, after four women came forward. Over the course of the next several months, more victims spoke up, and by Sept. 12, he pleaded no contest to 31 counts of felony sexual assault and one count of misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
“The essence of this case can be described in one word – courage,” Tulare County
District Attorney Tim Ward said. “These victims found their voice and broke the silence to
bring this perpetrator to justice.”
Due to the volume and nature of the crimes, the DA says Jimenez may be classified as a sexually violent predator upon release. If he survives until that date, the DA says he will also be evaluated for placement into a state hospital for indefinite services and programming.
