WATCH: Talladega Superspeedway president discusses how they prepare massive infield

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Talladega Superspeedway will soon come alive as thousands of fans will gather at NASCAR’s fastest track.

Every single SEC football stadium combined could fit into the infield of Talladega Superspeedway. CBS 42 caught up Talladega Superspeedway President Brian Crighton to talk about the massive infield:

“It’s a 2.66-mile oval, so you can imagine how big around that is. And then we’ve got about 250 acres inside of our infield. We have almost 3,000 RV spots in our infield alone and those are all completely sold out,” said Crighton.
