Rouse pummels Killeen Chaparral 70-7 for first district victory

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Rouse didn’t hold back when claiming its first district win of the season with a 70-7 rout of Killeen Chaparral on Thursday at Gupton Stadium in the KBVO Game of the Week.

London Morgan threw for five touchdowns, three to Aubryn Davis, leading the Raiders to touchdowns on all seven possessions in the first half. The Raiders led the Bobcats 49-7 at halftime.

The lone score for the Bobcats came on a 67-yard kick return by Samuel Morgan to tie the game at 7-7 early in the first quarter.

Rouse (3-4, 1-3) takes on Leander on Oct. 24. Killeen Chaparral (2-5, 0-4) plays East View on Oct. 24.
