The exhibit includes more than 100 rare documents, pieces of art, and international artifacts that highlight the global legacy of the Declaration.
Two of the most prominently featured artifacts include the desk believed to have been used by Thomas Jefferson to draft the Declaration, as well as the jail bench where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote the historic “Letter from Birmingham Jail.”
The Declaration’s Journey will be on display at the Museum of the American Revolution beginning October 18, 2025, through January 3, 2027.
