IMPD: 1 in critical condition after west side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after a reported shooting on the west side of Indianapolis on Friday afternoon.

According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers with the department’s northwest district responded to a person shot in the 3600 block of Donald Avenue at around 2 p.m. on Friday.

When officers arrived, IMPD said that a person was located with “injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s).” The department said that the person was reported to be in critical condition.
