Fresno State men’s basketball announces Return to Selland game

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno State men’s basketball team is hosting a ‘Return to Selland’ game on Sunday, November 30. The Bulldogs will host CSU Bakersfield at 3 pm at the iconic arena in downtown Fresno.

“Selland Arena is where Fresno State Basketball became part of this city’s identity,” said Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy. “From Boyd Grant’s gritty, defensive teams to Jerry Tarkanian’s national spotlight years, those eras shaped who we are. Returning to Selland isn’t just a game, it’s a celebration of our history, our community, and the Red Wave that made it all possible.”

Selland was home of the Fresno State basketball program from 1966 to 2003. Now, for a one-time event fans can watch the ‘Dogs in action at Selland.

This game is not included in the season ticket package. Tickets for the Return to Selland game will go on sale on Friday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
