Clinton National Airport to host federal employee food drive

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with Clinton National Airport announced a food distribution event for federal employees impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.

According to a spokesperson, the drive-through will be held Friday, Oct. 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1000 Temple Street, the airport cargo building north of the terminal, accessible via Airport Road.

All federal employees are welcome and a government ID is required, officials said.

“We want to be sure all federal workers know about this opportunity,” said Heather Kendrick, Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

The event is a partnership between Clinton National Airport and the Arkansas Foodbank, officials said.
