
Brian Ades has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace in District 7. He is seeking the Republican nomination in the 2026 primary election.
Ades cites his background in public service and long-standing ties to the Mountain Home community. He previously served as a police officer in Thornton, Colorado, and has more than 33 years of experience working for the U.S. government, including service in the U.S. Navy and as a security contractor in Afghanistan.
KTLO News spokes with Ades, who explains why he decided to run for the position.

Ades managed operations at Marchant Building Center for 10 years and later served as first sergeant in the security department at Baxter Health.
His volunteer work includes helping children of domestic abuse victims through Serenity, Inc. and assisting patients in need as an administrative aide at the Christian Clinic.
A Mountain Home resident for 27 years, Ades has been married to his wife, Patti, for more than 43 years. The couple has two children and three granddaughters.
Ades said he supports majority rule and cooperation to encourage community growth.
