CHICAGO — Amid his third bid for governor, JB Pritzker’s campaign released his partial tax records on Wednesday, which show more than $1.4 million in gambling income.

In a joint filing, Pritzker and his wife reported an adjusted gross income of $10.6 million, which includes $1,425,000 in gambling winnings, $4,209,421 in capital gains, $3,858,197 in ordinary dividends and $812,843 in taxable interest.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a campaign spokesman said the governor had wins and losses from a casino in Las Vegas, but did not specify which games he played or where the wins occurred.

A spokesperson for his campaign later confirmed to WGN-TV that the governor intends to donate the winnings.

Pritzker, an heir to the Hyatt Hotel Corp., currently has an estimated net worth of around $3.9 billion, according to Forbes.
