The bike park will open with four to five trails and room to expand in future seasons. According to the resort, from beginner-friendly trails to intermediate and advanced flow trails, the park will have it all.
The new bike park has been announced in collaboration with SCOTT USA, a Switzerland-based provider of high-performance outdoor sporting goods. It’s American office is based in Ogden.
“With our mountains and their headquarters just miles apart, the connection is both strategic and deeply personal,” Davy Ratchford, General Manager at Snowbasin Resort said in a press release.
Snowbasin has hosted a few events during the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics including downhill, combined (downhill and slalom) and super-G. The resort has also been named an Olympic venue for the second time, selected as the official Alpine Skiing venue, at the upcoming 2034 Salt Lake Winter Olympics.
SCOTT bike rentals will be available starting in 2027.
