According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident happened around 3:50 a.m. on I-69 northbound near 82nd Street (mile marker 201).
INDOT said a semi jack-knifed, leading to a fuel spill.
At one point, all lanes were closed, as was the I-465 northbound exit ramp to I-69 northbound.
As of 7 a.m., the right lane on I-69 northbound had reopened and the left three lanes were closed. By 8:10 a.m., INDOT indicated that only the left lane was closed on I-69 northbound.
INDOT said all lanes reopened on I-69 northbound around 8:40 a.m. The I-465 exit ramp to I-69 northbound reopened around 9:30 a.m.
