I-69 reopened after crash involving semi caused closures

INDIANAPOLIS – A semi crashed on I-69 on the northeast side of Indianapolis, leading to a traffic backup.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident happened around 3:50 a.m. on I-69 northbound near 82^nd Street (mile marker 201).

INDOT said a semi jack-knifed, leading to a fuel spill.

At one point, all lanes were closed, as was the I-465 northbound exit ramp to I-69 northbound.
