Officers responded at 8:47 p.m. to a call about a possible shooting at a home in the 200 block of Maine Street and arrived to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Vallejo police said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and her name was not immediately available.
Police have not announced an arrest or released any details about the suspect or what might have led to the shooting, which is the 15th homicide in Vallejo in 2025.
