Wednesday weather: Staying hot and rather dry
Wednesday temperatures: Don’t expect any change in temperatures on Wednesday. Lows Wednesday morning will return to the upper 50s to lower 60s. Daytime highs will soar back up close to 90 degrees.
More sunshine: Futurecast continues to show a very dry outlook for our area for the next few days. Expect a mostly clear sky on Tuesday night and plenty of sunshine again on Wednesday. We will stay clear to partly cloudy on Wednesday night and will continue to see plenty of sunshine on Thursday. Moisture will begin to increase starting on Thursday, so we will likely start to see more clouds mixing in with the sunshine on Thursday and Friday.
Long-range outlook: A cold front will push through the area late on Saturday and Saturday night. Ahead of the front, highs will stay close to 90 degrees through Friday. Lows will gradually warm through the 60s. Behind the front, daytime highs will fall into the low to middle 80s. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s. The front will produce a decent chance of scattered thunderstorms. A few of these storms could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center continues to indicate that we will have a level 2 slight risk. More rain will be possible during the last half of next week. Stay tuned!
