Owner asks for help in tracking down vehicle stolen in Hayward
According to the Hayward Police Department, the car was stolen at around 4:50 a.m. when it was parked on the street at 27843 Ormond Ave. Police said a white sedan with an unknown license plate is a possible suspect vehicle.
Surveillance video (above) appears to show at least two individuals exiting a white sedan, which was parked next to the Honda Civic. Around the 2:02 mark, the Civic’s engine turns on and appears to be driving away from the scene with the white sedan.
Photos of the stolen vehicle can be viewed below.
The owner of the vehicle said the car was in the auto body shop for two months. It was stolen in less than three days the repairs were done. The now car-less owner is calling this a “stressful and nerve-wracking time.”
