Oschner LSU Health joins ‘Wave of Light Remembrance’ child loss event

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) —Wednesday, October 15, Oschner LSU-Health Shreveport is hosting an event at St. Mary Medical Center to recognize pregnancy, infant, and child loss.

At 6 p.m., there will be a program bringing women together who have experienced the loss of a child or an infant. The event will include talks from grief and loss specialists. At 7 p.m. around the world, everyone will light a candle, and there will be a wave of light for 24 solid hours.
