One person dead after two-vehicle crash in Shreveport
The incident occurred on Monday, October 13, at the intersection of Poleman Road and North Market Street. A preliminary investigation, along with witness statements, revealed that one driver was traveling northbound on North Market Street and made an abrupt turn from the center lane into the path of a southbound car. The two vehicles collided head-on in the intersection.
The driver heading southbound, identified as Jerry Williams, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim’s name has not been released.
