New Orleans Mayor-Elect Helena Moreno announces transition team
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Mayor-Elect Helena Moreno announced the co-chairs of her transition team Wednesday, Oct. 15.
These will include former congressman and White House advisor Cedric Richmond, former mayoral candidate and judge Desiree Charbonnet and Ochsner Executive Emily Arata. The transition team’s executive director will be Renee Lapeyrolerie.
Moreno said Richmond will be responsible for economic development and Arata will handle city services. The executive director will oversee the operations of the transition.
Moreno said the team will prioritize efficiency and transparency.
